Concept art for a comic based on my short story, which was in turn based on a thought experiment. A woman replaces herself, bit by bit, for the sake of someone she loves. A story about plastic surgery (of a sort) with a dash of body horror.
She knelt down to open the drawer, showing rows and rows of small, white teeth. “They’re made from the ivory of piano keys. All upper octaves. With these you’ll have the sweetest, softest voice in the world.”
Created for FILM 47 at Dartmouth College.
